The Siege of Awugheswt was the ground campaign of the Empire of Triterra's attempted invasion of the Starborne colony of Meio, in the Pel's Aurora Region, taking place at the end of the year 197.
It was at the time the Battle involving the highest number of ground troops in the Region, with over 100000 fighting on each side. It also marked the end of the War on Triterra together with the Battle of Meio fought in orbit of the planet, as between them the two battles effectively eliminated the vast majority of Triterra's military strength, as Triterra's Astrofleet was wiped out, leaving the ground troops marooned planetside.
